White Christmas...

We had a fantastic Christmas at home. It was very relaxed, and Santa brought everyone what they wanted. Mommy got a new camera so she can put pretty pictures on her blog. It snowed a ton, and it was a perfect day to stay inside and play with the family.

London...

We spent 5 amazing days in London. It was awesome! We went to The Bristish Museum, Chipotle, The Eye, Big Ben, Parliament, Trafalgar Square, The London Zoo, Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Tower Bridge, Tower of london, ate at Hard Rock Cafe, had coffee at starbucks, rode the tube all over town, and wandered by Hyde Park. My husband and I had a date night in Piccadilly Circus and saw "The 39 Steps" at the Criterion Theater, followed by a pint at a couple pubs. It was one of the best trips we have taken since moving to Europe.
I love London...

Thanksgiving...

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Daddy was away on work in Spain this year so that was sad, but we made it a fun, very low key, casual day. We had a dress code of nice on top, jammies on the bottom. I found it worked out well. I made pumpkin cupcakes along with the pumpkin pie, and they were a hit! Thanksgiving number two in Germany went off with out a hitch. :)

Fun photos...

Awhile back I took a photography class. Well I thought I would put up a few of my favorite photos that I took during that class.

Disneyland Paris...

We just had an awesome time at Disneyland Paris! It was my little girls first time at Disney and she was amazing. Her very first ride was Phantom Manor. She loved it, and I was so proud.

Chic and kid friendly...

Via here
So my daughter will be turning one soon. Which means she is into everything! She is constantly crawling on things and up things. Recently she learned that pencils can write, so I will be buying stock in magic erasers soon. Therefor I went looking for some photos of homes that look good, but that my daughter can't trash too much. I found this living room, and I like the grey sofa, hiding some of her messy hand prints. I also like the coffee tables that have that natural tree look. I mean they are supposed to be "rustic" looking so a few dents here and there from random toys and kitchen objects just add to the charm , right? . I would however have to nix the bike on the wall, that is a total danger zone. I would replace that with a gallery wall. :)

For the love of shoes...

Both of these shoes are to die for.. I am in love! I love the awesome "bling" detail on the sandal. The mix of glamour and rustic charm just gives me goose bumps. These adorable boots look so comfy. They look like you could just throw them on and run the kids to school, but at the same time look super chic... love... love... love.. J Crew does it again!!!

Bedroom love...

Are these not both beautiful spaces? I would love to cozy up in either of them. I love neutrals. I like how the first room uses a little color but still has a very neutral pallet. While the second room stays more black and white, but with fantastic rustic touches.. love the foot board and antlers.

My weekend...

A friend of mine and I travel to Gothenburg, Sweden for a P!nk concert, and some much needed retail therapy. It was such a fun time! The concert was amazing. P!nk has so much energy, and it made the show fantastic. There was tons of shopping in Gothenburg. The largest mall in the Nordic is there as well as many streets of smaller boutiques. Our hotel was lovely and very centrally located. We never had to take a cab, everything we wanted was within walking distance. The moose is their mascot and my favorite animal so I had to pick up several souvenirs that were "moose" inspired.... fun times. :)

Can I rock these?

I have been seeing these skinny cargo pants around and I am starting to like them. It makes me wonder if I could rock these? Hmmmmmm The J Brand Houlihan seems to be the most popular with the celebs.. but with a price tag of about $250, I'll probably shop around.. ;)

End of the week Etsy...

I absolutely love Etsy. I find so many cute things on there and the fact that they are handmade makes it even better. I found this adorable teether on there in the shape of Wisconsin, my home state. So many people I know are pregnant right now and these would be adorable gifts. They have several different types to choose from. They are made by Little Sapling Toys. Their toys are organic and they plant a tree for every toy sold. Love it!

Crafty...

So today a friend and I stopped in our small craft store here. I was picking up some items to use for my daughter's birthday party next month. While there I picked up a pack of several different fabric swatches. I remembered seeing on Caitlin Wilson Design that she had made some onesies for her daughter that were super cute. So I decided to try something similar. This is what I came up with. Keep in mind a. I don't sew! b. This was a first attempt, but I thought I would share and put the link for Caitlin's site with the REALLY cute onesies! :)

My little model kept wanting to take the pictures herself. :) The 3rd photo has horrible background, but was too cute not to put up...

Excited!

One week from today I will be visiting Gothenburg, Sweden. I'm very excited! One of my besties DeAnne and I will be there for three days. The plan is to eat Swedish meatballs... get Swedish massages... and oh yeah we get to see PINK live and in concert. It's going to be so awesome. It has been crazy hot here and it's supposed to be around 66 degrees there... how perfect.

I would really like to find a cardigan like this to wear while on my trip. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to find one in Sweden. That would be a great souvenir!
